Sized could double-count allocated hard links and present incomplete scans as successful totals. This branch preserves filesystem errors, counts hard-link allocation deterministically, and exposes controlled scans for native consumers. The CLI returns nonzero status for partial results and adds explicit JSON completeness and optional filesystem boundaries.
Release archives now include the executable before archiving, along with licence, documentation, completions, target/source metadata and a SHA-256 checksum. Packaging refuses existing outputs, including dangling archive symlinks, and no longer implicitly builds platform installers. README, manual and Cargo links reflect the actual public release and the Sized/SizeQueen relationship.
Validation: macOS arm64 archive extraction, checksum, packaged-executable smoke, overwrite/dangling-symlink refusal and Cargo/Make installation into temporary prefixes pass. On source 77b11a8c29, cliff-mads push run 1065 and PR run 1066 passed: all 23 tests including real mount boundaries, formatting, strict Clippy, release smoke, the same archive verification and unchanged-checkout enforcement. Earlier scanner evidence also covers Linux ARM64.
Review the CLI exit-status/JSON and public library API changes before merging and selecting a release version. Sized retains its scanner copy and remains independently fetchable; private sized-core adoption is separate. No new tag or binary release is created by this PR.
